Vibration Measurement and Testing
Vibration is defined as mechanical oscillation of an object about a fixed point. Infrasonic can perform vibration measurement and testing. We can determine the dynamic properties of the system or structure (Modal Analysis). We can also examine the dynamic durability of a particular device. In this case a test article is driven or forced to vibrate by specific inputs for a specific length of time. When the test is over, the test piece must still perform its original task. The purpose of this type of test is to provide experimental evidence that a machine part or structure can survive a specific dynamic environment. |
